Surviving in the city is like struggling for water in a desert. Difficult and challenging. They say that when you live downtown, either by choice or by force, you have to have the motivation to do so.

People choose to live in the city because of their belief of having lots of opportunities to progress and that is in fact only possible if they acquire the perfect jobs for themselves, which can be tough as it can be.

On an average couple’s note however, a calm and simple way of life the country offers is more than good enough. Jobs are available, though the pay is a little lower, it is enough to support their needs and some wants since the cost of living in the place is not as high as the city’s.

The pollution-free environment that is evident through the fresh air and the breathtaking sceneries make it even more close to its locals’ hearts. Wake up with the birds’ chirps, breathe in fresh air, have breakfast with your family, take off your truck’s tonneau cover, go to work, go home and spend the rest of your night playing with your kids. What better way to appreciate life more but to live by the simplest things yet feel contented, satisfied and grateful for them.

Mañana Habit

This theme for today's Couple's Corner is for my husband! He loves to say - i will do that later, will fix that tomorrow, will do tonight etc etc. Perfect mañana habit. He is always like that - sometimes to just tease me coz i don't want things left undone so if i can do it i will do them myself. And that would make him feel victorious, lol!

Just timing coz last week i asked him to fix the sound system at home friday night and he was able to fix them monday afternoon! Imagine how much of a nag i am everyday asking him to please fix it so i can have some music while doing the household chores. Grabeeeee!

But his ways make me love him more. If he is perfect he would not be the man i fell in love with 51 months ago! Now and forever - with mañana habit or not - i love you more and more Kabute! Happy 3rd Year Anniversary!

I was expecting a date at Balinsasayaw, the place where we had the reception after our civil wedding 3 years ago. You said we have to get back to the place by hook or by crook. Maybe you thought we spent a fortune at Medz Resort last sunday so you said to just get back there some other time. Maybe next year... or next next year. The way i know you, you would always choose not to spend for occasions. But that's always fine with me daddy. What matters most is that we're together... that through the years we still hold on to the promises we made at Victoria Court (the name of the lady judge that officiate our wedding) ^_^

And to see Yena's priceless face at the resort would bend your rules. Splurge if its for her happiness! I know you would not say NO to another party if it would make our little mushroom happiest ^_^

And i hope we get a good travel deal for next year. I really hope we could spend our 4th year outside the Philippines.. How about Spratlys?

Bohol Beach Resort for Honeymooners

I remember three years ago, on our civil wedding – Atty Victoria said that the wife should be submissive to her husband. If that’s the case, the husband should be the boss of the house. But I have problems with that – I have a stubborn personality being the eldest in the family and being a spoiled wife.

But that was before. I guess I have softened up a BIT. That’s a record breaking three years for me to be somehow"submissive".. and I ain't that spoiled wife like I used to be. I hope! LOl

So who’s the boss? None. We are both slaves of each other. In our every decision making – we talk, compromise, and decide on what’s best not only for us but for the party concerned.

Oh, yeah he’s the boss of the kitchen in terms of cooking. I am the boss at home making. But on everything about the welfare of our family – our daughter Yena is the ultimate boss!!

Honeymoon at Whites and Greens Beach Resort

November 20 is the planned pool party for my daughter and her cousins. That’s my treat to them for my 29th birthday. You may call it my first ever birthday party in my 29 years of existence and I have been saving for that through my blogging money.

But there’s a big change on my plans. On that day we will fly to BOHOL and will spend my birthday at Whites and Greens Beach Resort. The generous owner of that little paradise offered 3 days and 2 nights ALL EXPENSE PAID VACATION!. Read this: FREE AIRFARE via PAL, 3days 2nights accommodation, all our meals and 3 days tour of bohol countryside etc etc.

He told me to call it a ‘honeymoon’ of sort for me and husband. And I remembered – husband and I weren’t able to have a honeymoon 3 years ago!! And an offer as good as that is too good to be true but it’s REAL. I already have our PAL tickets and the resort is waiting for us next month! Isn’t he heaven sent?!

I want him to stay as he is even if he always annoys me big time. I want him to stay the same – no more, no less. I want him to still cook me my favorite food every time I crave for them. I want him to treat me like his baby. I want him to be the man that he is most especially when defending me from ‘insane’ people. Ok, materially, he knows that I want this ring only if we win on the lottery! LOL

I want him to do the laundry on Saturday (he doesn’t like dirty clothes). I want him to jog with me on weekends (he finds it hard to wake me up early on weekends just to jog). I want him to bring me to the cinema and watch sa’yo lamang (this is very impossible – he doesn’t like tagalog movies). I want him to clean the whole house on weekends (he is the messiest person you will ever met!)

Seriously, I don’t want him to change his ways – coz he will be perfect and our married life would be boring if that happens! LOL

It maintained pr2 over the past years but got an N/A yesterday. Instead of sulking and asking why it got the n/a ranking i decided to just purchase a new domain at godaddy and do what i have been wanting to do - change it to dotcom!

So you won't see me crying Mr G. Actually, i have been waiting for this moment to arrive. LOL So it is still thank you! ^_^

I missed CC last week! To say that I am stressed at work is an understatement. I can be very busy at work but can join the weekly memes but last week was terrible. And this week – seems lighter – I hope.

So for CC’s sensitivity last week, that theme I guess is for me, lol. I am the queen of sensitivity. Ask my husband! On our first months of being a couple we would have a misunderstanding because I hurt so easily. He is the most sarcastic fellow on earth while I was the most hypersensitive human being. So imagine when he makes fun of me – i always end up locking myself in our room at MIL’s house.

But that was before. Now I learned how to be as sarcastic as he is. I can play around his teases and I ain’t that vulnerable anymore!

So for the CC theme this week, on the hardest days of our marriage life I guess it’s the first years.. I mean I was really sensitive while he’s very much a joker. Everything for him seems light and he cant seem to get serious – but that’s his personality - bubbly but masunget at times, hihi.

I should not be blogging about this since husband already wrote about this weeks ago on his blog but since i am on a diet right now and instead of going out and get myself a snack i decided to just write to somehow forget i am getting hungry (i could eat a two piece chicken, a large fries, an up size drinks, rocky road ice cream and extra rice at jollibee! i swear!) LOL

So this is our new wedding ring. The old pair is kept safely at home. We bought this last month at Lhuillier (our old pair we bought at Binondo!). Lhuillier's stall at SM is awesome, their sales lady in particular is very very accomodating. If the temptation and the budget is big we could have bought another ring for me and a bracelet for husband, lol.

A spur of the moment trip to Baguio in summer of 2007. What i love most about sudden vacations is that they pushed through no matter what. Sometimes planned vacations are mostly a bummer. Well, that's what happened to our baguio trip with friends that summer. Now when we look back and plan for another visit to baguio, seems like everybody's schedules doesn't match up. ^_^

If there’s one thing that I am so thankful of my husband, it’s the fact that he is very much loyal now. He was very much a playboy in the past. He was very much a flirt!

But now he is completely a changed man. So I disagree when people say – once a playboy always a playboy. Coz my husband would be one example that when you say goodbye to your old ways – no matter how hard it is – you would do it for the sake of your loved ones.

There’s no more question of trust between us. We trust each other – we entrust our lives with each other – so when you see me insane one of this days that would be husband’s fault, LOL. Seriously, we have faith on our love for each other – we have faith that this marriage will last in a lifetime (with God as the center of our union) and we are willing to work it all out no matter how bumpy the road will be and there’s no more doubt about loyalty. If one of us walk towards the road of disloyalty this blog will be shut down to its existence – and that’s the sign! LOL

Helping and Supporting each Other

There are silent rules in our house, first, I do all the cleaning and husband’s in charge of cooking. Cleaning means everything that has to be cleaned. Well I don’t complain, I am not comfortable when husband cleans the house – usually I would just clean it again ^_^.

We help each other by taking turns in taking care of our daughter. When I have a rush blogging tasks to do – husband would take care of yena. When he wants to read/review his financial accounting books I have to play or watch cd with yena. That’s another silent rule.

Since blogger.com is blocked at my work, husband would publish the posts I made during lunch breaks just like this one – he helps me with my blogging and supports me (so much that he created his own blogs to keep up!) Blogging is a big blessing in our family, most of the earnings from our blogs are for helping and supporting the needs of our extended families.

I support him all the way in his love for music, he plays the guitar well and loves to serve the parish through music just like I do so we support each other even if sometimes we feel like giving up on the choir. Sob.

He has lots of plans and sometimes I get drowned just the mere thought of them ^_^ – but no matter what I am supporting him all the way.

I don’t know if I am born a natural flirt coz every morning it’s a routine for me to say I love u and I miss u to husband. At messenger I would usually tease him those same words and would comment that it seems like he doesn’t feel the same.

This morning, I told him I miss him and he replied; should I say it every single day? Of course I do!

Told him, he should. (am a demanding wife!) Lol

And he replied: I miss you so much baby, that’s for today until Friday ok?! ^_^

I don’t know if it’s just me. I cannot let the day pass without saying how much I love him or how much I miss him or how much I am thankful that he is my husband.

Husband and I share the same interest in blogging. We both like to blog most especially if there’s some oppps from M, heheh. In terms of eating, my husband loves fish, vegetables and fruits. His favorite dish is kilawin. I on the other hand love everything junk. He likes to cook but dislikes washing the dishes. He likes basketball and dislikes badminton.

Husband dislikes taking medication even if he is sick. He would only go to the doctor when he cannot take it any longer. He likes to tease me every now and then, teasing is his favorite hobby. He likes to drink alcohol with his cousins but dislikes smoking.

I need to ask him to blog about what he likes and dislikes about me, I really don’t know what he likes about me aside from my uber gorgeous body before, don’t take the last sentence seriously am only kidding hihi.

While I love news about entertainment, the buzz or showbiz central and the likes my husband loves sports news. I love reading books and ebooks he prefers to listen to my stories instead. I love watching Kris Aquino, he loves watching current news instead. I love chocolates, corn and milk while he always prefers fruits.

He loves basketball and James Yap, I don’t, hahah. He loves fish, fruits and vegetables and I love junk foods. He loves to cook but hate the dirty kitchen sink, I love to wash the dishes. He creates a lot of mess around the house and hates cleaning, I love to clean and keeps everything in order.

He loves to watch scary films, I love romantic and comedy films. He loves only Levis, I can go for any brand of jeans. He is very thrifty while I am a compulsive shopper. I love to sell stuffs and he is too shy to do that. I am 5 months older that him but he is very mature for his age, while I am uhmmm I feel so much younger when I am with him. LOL

My husband is very musically inclined; he knows how to play different musical instruments. He sings pretty well too. I am always a proud wife every time he sings on a videoke and dedicates his song to me. Haba ng hair ko! ;)

We both hate to dance, we both have left foot. So erase dancing on our list of talents. hahah.

Husband and I will be celebrating our 4th year anniversary as lovers on the 28th of this month. My excitement went wild when I learned that the movie for offing was SALT of Angelina Jolie!

So then and there while working and while thinking on what best to celebrate that most awaited night of this month I pray... I pray that we would have the tickets, will consider them as the sweetest anniversary gift! =)

Since I marry a man who most of the time thinks of spending his money wisely, we don’t usually spend money on things. So speaking of inexpensive hobbies, we have lots of them! Now for the enumeration… Hihih

WATCHING. We watch movies together on weekends. We would watch on the cinema if the movie is really worth our penny (I mean if we both love the trailer and would really love to watch it asap) other than that we would just watch it at home with husband’s copied movies from his officemates (downloaded from the internet!)

EATING. We binge at home on everything that he cooks. Eating is husband’s favorite hobby of all.

SINGING. We sing together at home. He would play his guitar while I and yena would sing along.

BLOGGING. We blog together on weekends when yena is asleep. We have unlimited connection monthly so we maximize the use of that on weekends.

CHATTING. We CHAT a lot everyday, every hour when time permits. We talk a lot when we’re together, we chat on messenger and on SMS.

SLEEPING. oh, if given a chance this would be my favorite hobby - the most inexpensive of all (the lights are off and the heat is on, lol). i can sleep the whole day and husband can keep up with me on hugging and cuddling while sleeping. So when it's raining on weekends, we don't do anything of the above. We just sleep...

CC: When I am Sick

I am on blog leave but can’t afford to miss the theme this week on Couple’s Corner, hihih. I just want to share how spoiled i am with my yobib, hihi. My husband is a natural caregiver; he takes good care of me most especially when I am not feeling well. One time, when I was so sick, I woke up on a breakfast in bed, red roses and a love note.

When I was hospitalized last year he was the one who stayed and became the most caring nurse I have ever known. When I gave birth to Yena, he was the one who stayed beside me, clean my wounds, put my binder and remind me of my meds.

He is sweet but usually would be the sweeetest when I am sick. Last Sunday, he surprised me with 7 roses before the mass. Asked him what was that all about and he told me he bought those roses because of 4 letter word…

So I told him the four letter word must be L O V E?

And he chuckled; S A L E! =) Mommy, those roses were on sale!!!

Karate Kid Tonight!

Husband is fuming mad! He said, he will put an end to all that’s happening around us (domestic problem of someone I won’t disclose for sane reasons). The thought of husband being angry scares the hell out of me actually – I am scared when husband is mad. He can be a monster, lol.

But I have to stop him from doing all those war freak-thing he has in mind. Might just ask him to play on line casinos with me tonight or watch karate kid on DVD. There are people worth helping, some worth praying for and some worth leaving behind. Seriously, if they don’t want to help themselves, who else can?!

CC: I was out, He is in charge

When umma came here last march, we already planned on going out for an all girls night out. We just came from a 3 days vacation at Acuatico Beach Resort that day, and the plan was to leave the two sleeping toddlers (Umma’s son YL and my Yena) to Yobib at their room at Makati Shangrila.

So at past 9pm, Ghie, Kat, Umma and I sneaked out of the room. The kids were sleeping soundly with all the lights off while yobib seems to be in charge of the whole situation, armed with TLC (tender loving care) just in case one of kids looked for their mommy.

We were having a grand time at Cowboy Grill, it was F-U-N drinking beer and binging on pulutan. I thought everything was fine with the yayo and the two kids until 1am when my phone rung endlessly. Yobib surrendered, the kids were crying looking for their moms! Hahah. And we went back to the hotel, it was so bitin! The kids and yobib were KJ! =)

But it’s completely different when I leave yena on yobib’s care every time I have to go out. I don’t worry when the two of them are together. They play, sleep and eat together. They get along so well that when I came back the whole house is a mess. =)

Negative Times Three

Depressing but more than that I am so scared on what’s wrong with me. Hub said I should consult a doctor on weekend, some specialist should have me checked. I am a bit stressed the past few weeks but at least I should have signs that I am nearing the red flag soon.

For the past days now, I have nausea every morning and my head is swirling like crazy every afternoon around 5pm. This is very unusual for me. I only experience headaches and nausea when I was pregnant with Yena.

To take out a home mortgage was a commonplace enough event up until the financial crisis of 2007-2008. This was something that many people assumed they could easily do as soon as they had found the property of their dreams. In the past, taking out a mortgage was just a question of selecting a lender, deciding on whether to opt for a fixed-rate or adjustable-rate loan, gaining approval for the size of the loan in question, and signing on the dotted line. The ease with which such home loans could be obtained was taken for granted.

However, after the now notorious bubble (which peaked with unprecedentedly high property prices in 2005-2006) burst, holders of mortgages woke up in their hundreds of thousands to the realization that the sum they owed exceeded the re-sale value of their home. By the end of 2008, it is believed that the numbers in this negative-equity predicament in the US had climbed to over twelve million. The upshot was a sudden retreat from the fray by lenders. No longer would it be quite as easy to apply for borrowing to purchase a home. Sadly for those hoping for their first property, lean times lay ahead. Many commentators on the crisis in mortgage lending blamed speculative borrowing. Home purchasers took on mortgages at low initial repayments, fully intending to refinance when their home's value had climbed by a suitable percentage. When home values instead declined, purchasers were left with borrowing that they could not afford.

In the years since those worst days of the crisis, the good news is that lenders are offering mortgages again, cautiously and sensibly requiring of the borrower full documentation and a deposit in virtually all cases. The louder note of caution being sounded by lenders, not just in the US, but in most nations, means that a return to a healthy home-buying industry is well underway.

I live with my in laws for 14 months. Husband and I live with them days before I gave birth to yena and then left the house before yena turned 14 months old.

Since I don’t know how to cook, I looked like I was a border at my MIL’s house. On weekdays, husband and I had to go to work, we would bring yena to my mother and the three of us would go home at night time. So I had the weekends to spend with the in laws, and it was fine. Weekends for us means eating binge on Saturdays, videoke session in the afternoon, Sunday mornings in the church and chatting the time away. Repeat the whole week in sequence, lol.

So their first impressions? I don’t know. I was myself when I was with them. As for me, I love my MIL and FIL, coz they treat me like their own daughter from the first day hub brought me to their home.

Husband will be on Camarines Sur this weekend with his officemates, so on father’s day he will not be with us. Sigh. But yena and I will not be lonely on father’s day weekend. Of course I have plans hihih, will celebrate father’s day without daddy for the first time BUT I am sure this will be a happy day still. Husband shall be home by night of Sunday. Wink.

So yena and I will be shopping around for father’s day gifts on Saturday (see what blogging money can do. i have extra moolah for the men that matters, hihih). On Sunday, we shall be spending the day with lotsa blogging friends. We will have lunch at Pehpot’s house for Jade’s baby shower. What keeps me up every monday is Bo Sanchez articles (am so glad I subscribed through my mail) I love how he writes and gives inspirations to a lot of people. I am a big fan.

Anyways, last week’s article made me go home at sharp 5pm to hug, kiss and spend the time with my daughter. If only I can be a WAHM I would -in a swift. But I cannot afford to lose my job. Cannot. I will be a WAHM soon when I win the lottery, hahah. But I don’t even bet so that’s as good as dreaming.

Well, today’s article is about living your NOW, and part of it is about a woman who just lost her husband 3 months ago, she told this to Bo;

“My husband wasn’t perfect. But I’ll give anything to hold his hand again. I’ll give anything to sit beside him now. I’ll give anything to hear him laugh. I’ll give anything to serve him again. But I can’t. It’s impossible. So please Bo. Tell the wives to enjoy their imperfect husbands while they can. Because it won’t be forever.”

Husband grew up in a household where the saying –action speaks louder than words exists. But the bonding within the family members is incomparable. They talk about everything and anything under the sun. Quiet closed. The word love is apparent from the parents down to the grandchildren.

I don’t know if I should share this but husband has been suffering depression since his papa, my FIL died last year. He is blaming himself for everything – when papa got his first stroke and the day papa died. Since they don’t kiss and say I love you in the household – husband’s first and last utter of I love you to papa and his last embrace was the day he died. I am guilty with this but I also grew up not used to saying I love you to my parents – BUT I often embrace, kiss and hug them when I get the chance. So imagine how much husband was feeling the day his beloved papa died.

In spite of it all, I see husband as a son who is willing to do everything and anything for his parents. He loves them to bits and sees to it that they live comfortably. Now that mama is alone, it’s husband silent rule to spend weekends in his parent’s house to at least bring smile to mama’s face by spending time with her.

Husband and i has 9 sets of matching polo shirts. Now that we have yena, i find it hard to look for colors that will match her outfits when husband and i are in the mood to go out in identical colors.

I have been a fan of whatever outfits for my daughter Yena. The brand has lots of cool t-shirts and it was just last week that i found that they have polo shirts too. Delight! So yena's wearing a whatever polo. Nicey right?

The Mushrooms as Parents

As much as possible I don’t spank yena. When she is misbehaving or is being very stubborn I always tell her that I am getting angry and she behaves almost every time. Every time I scold her, she would go to her bed, lie down, and say ‘mommy you don’t love me, coz you’re scolding me’ sometimes she cries in between while telling me that. =) Every now and then I explain to her why I am being upset and tell her I love her so much but I don’t want her to be a spoiled brat.

I tend to be the spoiler while husband is the disciplinarian in the family. Yena and husband are super close, they are the best buddies. But when he raised his voice and tells yena to stop misbehaving – she will. As much as he is afraid of his daddy I hope that it just means she respects his every word.

It isn’t easy being a parent, it takes a lot of responsibility, hard work and dedication. But being a parent is my favorite vocation and I won’t trade it for anything in the world.

Paris Posters: Story of a Bygone Era

Posters as a mass produced art form are a contribution of Paris, the capital of France. Starting from the mid to late 19th century, poster printing became a craze in Paris. Everybody who was somebody wanted a poster about themselves or their performances; they wanted the best artists of Paris to decorate the city streets with their posters. Pencil artist and screen decorator Jules Chéret started an office in Paris in 1866 with the sole objective of developing custom poster printing. Chéret popularized the creation of colorful, timeless posters in Paris. His posters were vibrant with color, thanks to a new lithographic technique that he had developed. He created over 1,000 posters for Parisian exhibitions, events, and musicals, and is often considered the father of modern posters.

Other notable poster artists of the day were Alfons Mucha, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Firmin Bouisset. All of these artists contributed to the development of poster printing techniques, and made posters widely popular in Paris. Around this time, Toulouse-Lautrec and Chéret started depicting females on their posters in various attractive and sensual poses. Many of these posters became fashion statements for city streets, spawning the phrase "art galleries of the street." Posters became so popular that an exhibition of posters was held in Paris in 1884, the first of its kind in the world.

Even today, some of the old posters created by Parisian artists survive in museums around the world. "Moulin Rouge-La Goulue," a poster created by Toulouse-Lautrec in 1881 depicting the famous Moulin Rouge of Paris, is an icon of the era. Another collectible poster is a creation by Jules Chéret. Called the Vin Mariani, this 1894 advertisement poster colorfully advertises the digestif, a tonic wine that used coca from the jungles of Brazil, then a newly imported, exotic drink in Europe.

Coming Home Tonight

After five days, husband is coming home tonight from Davao. He has been to four places in five days. I told him to capture pictures of Bacolod, Cebu, Zamboanga and Davao but he told me that since he went there to work – all he was able to capture was his breakfasts from his hotel. I thought I would be able to see those places even on pictures – but that’s my husband – he won’t exert effort to take pictures even if the view in front of him is heavenly.

While I, on the other hand is a photo addict. I take pictures of anything and everything that amuses me. I remember I took a lot of pictures of the plane that brought us to Coron Palawan, and if I can only capture the plane’s air intake systems I would. That’s how addicted I am to pictures.

That’s how different husband and I speaking of pictures. He doesn’t like picture taking and almost all our pictures together are wacky. He is quite camera shy. But since he always said that our daughter got almost all my traits – my daughter is a camera whore too. Once she sees my camera she would pose and tell me take her pictures. I don’t know if that’s a good thing though, hahah.

But anyways, I am so excited for tonight! Am sure my daughter is very excited to see his daddy too. Another great time to take pictures! Yey!

Can't wait tomorrow night!

Day4 without husband at home and i am still virtually wearing color BLUE. Sad, sadder, saddest. It's always hard without husband at home - you bet that i will have a swollen eyes after typing this and you will win! I am almost teary while typing this and thought to myself to stop writing. I will miss him all the more if i do but this is what i feel right now. Sad, sadder, blue - bluer than blue.

Funny how the first time he went out of town for work - i cried the first night while talking to him on the phone. I am such a cry baby. And his first time was just 3 days and 2 nights. But now, it's 5 days and 4 nights - it's like breaking the record. I know that missing him like these is not as twice as what he feels. When i miss him i can hug and kiss our daughter while he can only talk to us on the phone - on virtual hugs and kiss. Alone on his hotel, weary and tired for the whole day of work. His sacrifice is twice of a sacrifice of what i feel.

Now if only i can pull tomorrow i will. I can't wait tomorrow night! Can't wait to see my one and only - my love, my life, my ka-chorba. I can't wait to kick his ass for making me cry now!

My Pregnancy Story

This is a just a repost of my Conceived after two depressions entry last January 2009. I don’t have internet connection at home and I find it hard to blog at work (am using proxy to somehow open my blogs). But I cannot afford to miss this week’s theme at Couple’s Corner. So this shall be my entry on my pregnancy story. ^_^

Hubby and i have been through a lot when we decided to be together sometime ago. Just like any other couple we've been through ups and downs! We've been to the long and winding road of fighting for our love. But there was two instances then that i thought id give up, i can sense hubby felt the same too! It was the time when we were both impatient to have our own baby.

My ob said i have mayoma, my left and right ovary were not healthy, in fact the ob cant find any egg cells. So planning a baby with my condition seemed futile. I underwent medication to regulate my mentruation and to have a healthy egg cells.. Patiently we waited for the baby. :)

Then a week of missed periods, jumped hubby for joy. He told me have my pregnancy test kit and check if i was already expecting. Miserably i get out of the comfort room weeping. Told myself, this was not yet the moment. But hubby felt terribly depressed. I was depressed all the more.

My first kit showing one line, negative. :(

The second time of my missed periods again, he was not expecting anything at all. I wa so nervous. I was worried i cant give him a child he has been wanting. Thoughts of husband leaving mefor another woman who could bare his child was running on my mind. I was hopeless all the more when the result turned to negative.

So there, after two depressions on a fine day of june, after a day of work and two months of missed period, i decided to try to have my kit ready again. And there we were, hubby and i, numb and speechless. Coz by that time, we saw two lines we've never seen before! That was then we knew... our baby was here already. :)

The two lines, positive! :)

And that was our Yena, our ultimate source of joy now, who was conceived after two depressions!

Meet My Mothers

I love this May's theme at Couple's Corner! There's no meme out there where we talk about our Mothers and am so thankful for the host for thinking about this in time for Mother's Day! It's Mother's Month at CC and i love it! Thanks Mareng Liz! ^_^

Anyways, here's my beloved MIL. Her name is Daisy and she is mestiza. I will be forever grateful to her for giving birth to my beloved husband hihih. There are lots of woman out there who has problems with their inlaws but am so lucky for my MIL and FIL(+) for loving me as their own daughter.

I wonder if Mareng Liz intentionally planned this Wednesday’s theme of Couples Corner in time for your birthday. But nevertheless am so thankful – (thanks Mare! love you!). So this post shall pay tribute to you, my husband, my lover, my chef, my busmate, my favorite ym buddy, my email stalker, my beloved, my life, and most of all my best friend.

Who on earth knows me more with just a stomp of my feet or rising of my eyebrows? You know their meaning by heart you are scared every time I do them. As much as I am afraid of your being masunget at times, I know you are not brave enough to handle my tantrums so when I told you enough is enough – even if the world would see you as 'under me' you would let my way rule. I feel like a queen on a chess board - - i feel so protected every time i am with you.

We laugh and cry together. You lift me up when am down – you tease me big time when I am going up. You are ALWAYS there when I need someone to talk to. You are not afraid to tell me what’s worst in me even if you know I will get hurt in the end. But you assure me every time that you love the whole package in me– the worst, the ugly, the best. You hurt more when you see me hurting.. you cry when i feel like crying and you laugh at me for crying more often.

Mere words cannot express how much you mean to me. How can i not be thankful that on the day i said yes to you i found the best friend i have been looking for. Kinikilig ka na ba? Seriously daddy I will not be the "happiest me" now if I didn’t choose you. I love you for all my eternity.. and thank you for being my best friend...

Someone is turning 28 tomorrow!

Yey, husband will be 28 tomorrow and I am excited for him. If you do not know yet, I am 5 months older than husband, so tomorrow we will be both 28 and I love it. If you do not know yet again, husband is very condescending about that slight age difference, he insists that I am older but he acts more mature!

Like for example, I love to play Online casinos until dawn while he would rather write notes for his blog or practice gospel songs with his guitar instead. He manages our monthly finances, our savings if there’s any and our future investments while I don’t think of any ‘financial matters’ as I love to spend. I spend good most especially if it’s for my family.

Hmmmm. Don’t know where to start. Well, for those who do not know yet, husband and I work full time on weekdays so we go to work together in the morning. And when he doesn’t need to render overtime we go home together too. The bus is our second home, we sleep there all the time. It’s 1 to 2 hours travel time from Makati to Cavite so that’s enough time to get some much needed sleep.

Sometime ago, my office is 5 buildings (or so) away from his office so when I wanted some snack I would just YM him or put ‘I like palabok’ on a status message and he would surprise me in a flash. The snack is right in front of my table already, he is the sweetest I know! Or when I want to lunch out I would just call him making him feel guilty of not taking me out on a date and boila he would invite me out for lunch!

In the mornings, we would walk hand and hand going to my office to have our breakfast at the canteen and then send me off to my work. And I have someone fetching me at the lobby after work. We would stroll the Makati area and wait for the bus home.

But since his office is already at The Fort, our lunch date and the surprise snacks were impossible already and oh I miss those days hihi. But no, there’s still email, phone and yahoo messenger that connects us. And we always start the day with iloveus at ym.

Jogging Time Tomorrow

It's a DATE. Husband and i will jog later at 5AM. Wish me luck coz it's already 1241AM!!!

I should be resting from blogging but i can't. I tried to not peek on my blogs the whole day but i gave up.. I guess i reached the highest level of blog addiction already. Coz right now am not yet half to thinking on updating my blog notebook.

BLOG NOTEBOOK?! Yeah i got one, lol. Funny but my notes are everywhere and that notebook is for 'kikay' purposes only..

Anyways, got to go and hit the sack. The two babies are snoring already, hihih. Have a fruitful weekend every one!

When the Naughty Couple Watch Movies

Husband and I get along well when it comes to movies and series. ^_^ except watching basketball games – I would instead do my cross stitching or attend to my blogs rather than watch that game with him. I lost interest in basketball, I don’t know, teehee.

Anyways, when we watch movies at home we eat a lot too. There should be some snack and drinks - - I would be the one asking for them while lying down and husband would act like my slave feeding me while am watching. I would lie on his tummy but most of the times we would cuddle. I am very noisy when I watch movies even if its romantic or drama much more if its comedy and action, oh gosh I am very loud. When the jealous yena is awake she will lie between us and watch and scream with me. But when she fall to sleep - hmmmhhhh i will leave that to your imagination. ^_^

Husband doesn’t like me to wear mini skirts not unless we would go out and watch movies! I have a naughty husband – I would wear a mini skirt on a cold movie house and husband would for sure keep me warm!

Planning for More Babies

I got two additional babies this month and am planning to have another one in the future. Well, am talking about my blogs. I call them my babies.

One friend asked me if I still have something to blog – considering I have 7 blogs right now. I told her definitely. One blog category am thinking is about gaming. I might talk about games online and offline and the best games on Casinos. Just so you know, I spent 6 hours in front of my laptop now playing Plants vs Zombies. Am quite addicted to playing games and would like to share them on my blog soon.

Living Separate Lives

Right now, Yena and I are sharing our meal table – she is watching Blues Clues on her Laplap while I am trying to blog. I did some cross stitching in the afternoon and spent in front of my laptop playing Plants vs Zombies til 10pm.

Husband is quite occupied in front of his laptop, typing the choir songs, testing the notes on his guitar.

The mushroom family is having their OWN time right now. Are we leaving separate lives already? Ow no worries – at night time we will be back to each other’s arms – lying side by side by side. ^_^

Though we can both say that we love our current love nest now because it gives us privacy more than any other things, i have to say that husband's favorite place is my MIL's house. One time, i asked him where he wants to go sooo often and won't last a week not seeing and his quick reply was - Phase 3! The exact location of my MIL's house and to where his cousins and childhood friends live nearby!

Now you ask me where my favorite place on earth is? It's none other than being in the middle of husband and Yena anywhere, but my most favorite place is of course in where we sleep every night. I won't enjoy the luxury of a nice bed if i have to sleep there alone - a bed would be heaven if i am in between my two babies on earth.

Told you I will flood you with business speech on my blog this week. Do I hear you complain? Don’t be! You will get some dough here – actually you will only get some hint most especially if you are planning to get some insurance information exchange.

I am not an insurance guru, in fact I stay away from insurance agents. I just don’t get the picture on what they are talking about but since I need to be prepared on my family’s future I am now looking into some business insurance quote. I am actually scared of the way I talk now, I sound like some agents from Texas Business Insurance. They are fast, reliable and accommodating. Plus they talk base from facts and would not make you gullible about the present economy. That is insurance companies after the recession is now back on track so investing is a good move.

Hey, you think that is not me talking right? I have to ask myself if I was the one who really said that insurance speech, by the way. But it looks like I do so what are you waiting for? I am thinking of my of the future by investing in insurance, how about you?

Business Minded

I don’t usually write about my future endeavors here, it might shoo away the few readers I already have. This blog is all about the life of my husband and I and to where we’re heading so I might once in a while fill this with dreams, plans and what nots, right? So let me bore you now with my work and my future plans. I am quite contented with my present company but with the way the economy is going now and my present company on the news of being acquired by a gigantic company, who has aim to monopolized all telecommunications company, I think I need to reorganize my plans for the future.

Well, I don’t plan on getting old in my work and being an employee forever. I plan on putting up a business someday, doing some customized tshirts for example. That one is quite bankable – considering in our place alone, there are lots of them who would like some food shirts especially during our yearly Feast of the Risen Christ. So while am thinking about it, I am peeking on TCritic blog and is getting some tips from the pro. I need to know some inputs first and don’t like to waste my hard earned money on business that might go downhill. I will share to you updates if there’s any, that is if you still want to hear from a wannabe business minded like me.

My Husband's Sweetest Gesture

As I have shared on my previous posts, my husband is the PDA type. He hugs me and kisses me even on public.

Just last Sunday, after spending the afternoon with his family, yena and I decided to come home before him as I have lots of house works pending – you know unloading all the vacation baggage is such a hard work. With his sisters and my MIL in front he kissed yena and I goodbye, oh boy I blushed but loved it. I love him kissing me especially if our family sees it. They see how much flirty we both are, lol.

But the sweetest gesture I love is every time we are at the church. Before, husband and I sing together sharing one microphone, so on the peace-with-you-part we kiss. I find it the sweetest. But now that he plays the guitar and I get to sing along with the girls we only kiss after the mass is ended – I find it sweet too but nothing compares to kissing on the kiss-with-you-part, hihih am so Maarte! LOL

Mushroom's Bedtime Habits

What Bedtime habits? You mean the habit before bedtime.. Or the sleeping time. Oh, I hardly got time to sleep since monday, Kaye and Pehpot's contest is nearing its end so im going gaga and trying hard to get some points by ~~spamming~~ commenting on their blogs.

Anyways, as i try to recall what i usually do before bedtime it leaves me to this week's view. While husband is watching dvd (the endless Queen Seon Deok that i sooo love!) i am in front of my laptop commenting Kaye and Pehpot's blog - of course, i peek once in a while. He would be playing with Yena. Yena would ask something from me from time to time her milk, juice, chocolate - she doesn't want me facing my laptop for so long.

Yay, i think i am going nowhere. Alright, after doing some blog time, watching dvd, i do my bedtime routine - that is brushing, cleaning, smiling in front of the mirror, drink milk, hit husband, lay down the mat, kiss yena good night, kiss husband good night - sleep. Shuffle my bedtime routine and that's husband's bedtime habit too. So there. Happy CC everyone!

Bride Wars

Even best friends can't share the same wedding day.

Liv (Hudson) and Emma (Hathaway) bowed that they will be wed only at Plaza Hotel and would only commission the famous wedding planner Marion St. Claire. They were the best of friends and from childhoold imagine what their wedding would be like.

Years after, Liv became a successful lawyer while Emma became a simple school teacher. Their boyfriends proposed to them on the same day and the twist and turns of the story began. They got reservation at Plaza Hotel and got the service of Marion but due to Marion's secreraty's mistake -- their weddings were scheduled on the same day. None of them would want to change the date and so from best of friends they became the worst enemies, both trying to sabotage each wedding preparations. You have to watch the movie to know how it ends. ^_^ Husband and i love watching this movie and we had a grand time laughing.

Cuddling Mushrooms

Last night, just like the nights before husband and I spent more than 3 hours in front of the TV cuddling while watching DVD. We were both hooked on Queen Seok Deok, a korean telenovela we can’t get enough of. So now while typing, my head is swirling and my eyes can’t hold it any longer – give me time to sleep! LOL

Husband is the PDA type. He is very showy. When he is drunk he is times 100 the PDA type. We love to cuddle while watching movies. We love to cuddle at the bus, we look like iw at times, hahah. We love to cuddle at night.. And needless to say our sleeping position is this:

Here comes the hardest theme of Couple’s Corner, Ahuh! Hihih. For honesty is the best policy's sake here's my share on today's CC!

We both know how much our monthly take home pay is, how much is our accumulated debts through the years and how much our monthly expenses for the month. So getting the money on pay day is like passing through a cave – you will just bring them to where they should be – banks, groceries, bills etc. We both know that and there’s no chance you can make kupit :) LOL

We both know everything from the flings, crazy Exes, stalkers, and their NAMES. We sometimes joke on using them for our future children, lol. Seriously, yobib has been very honest on to that part and I have been too. I am not good in keeping secrets and the thing of the past is our worst fall every time we argue. We are both jealous lovers. LOL

Husband is very honest on whom among my friends he finds ok, those he doesn’t like and who he adores. So I can go out easily on friends he approves of and to those he doesn’t I have to beg. Lol hahaha. I have no qualms on his friends all of them seems nice.

Husband is very vocal. He tells me everything even if it will hurt me – he is that blunt! On our first year of marriage, I was always sulking with the way he talks, he is always brusque kasi while I am very sensitive. But later on I learned from his being frank and use them to strike him!

I fell in love to husband because I can tell him everything – as in everything - My deepest secrets, my greatest fears, my grandest dreams etc. He was and is always my shock and joy absorber. He is my secret box. And I know I am his secret box too!

What Breakfast in Bed?

I have an aching head recalling if there’s an instance when husband and I had breakfast in bed. For one, we don’t have bed at home, our bed is yena’s bed. For two, we don’t cook breakfast on weekdays anymore. We both would like to have an extended sleep every morning so waking up to cook is tough. So what breakfast in bed are we talking about? LOL

Alright, I remember a time. When I gave birth to Yena I had those sweet breakfasts in bed with loads of kisses on the side. Husband was the sweetest. I would wake up with a hot soup and rice for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And he would always cook for me. When I am sick, he is there for me. He is my chef, my nurse, my lover – giving me not only yummy food but also kisspirin and yakapsul.

Sometimes I wish I can give birth everyday or get sick everyday to feel this again, lol. But no! Alright, YES! LOL haahah

Plans for the Valentine’s Day

Husband has been asking me where we would be spending our Valentine’s Day many days before February starts. He isn’t that excited! We spent time eating out or watching movies every heart’s day before so I told him we might be watching a movie or dine at Max’s for a change, lol.

Just this Sunday, he again asked me of my plans. I said we can’t have a date on the 14th coz it will be Joey’s interment. The whole family will be at the cemetery in the afternoon of February 14. Jean specifically picked the date, she said she wants to be with Joey on Valentine’s day.

So maybe after that when we still have enough energy to spend our ‘solo’ time together we will sneak out somewhere, but I doubt it. But everyday is a valentine’s day when we are together.. Maybe we can have a date on the 13th or 15th instead.. wink.

I love you because I will not know how my life would be without you! I love you so much daddy, for a lot of reasons or for no reasons at all. I love you and thank you for always bearing with my tantrums.. I love you for being YOU!!

I would like to keep this post short and would like to ask for prayers for husband’s favorite cousin Jean, who get married to her long time BF last January 23. Today, 11 days after the wedding, her husband Joey died on a motor accident. It feels so trembling to know that by a snap of a finger, a life is lost – a love that’s just starting all of sudden came to an end. And while typing this, my daughter Yena kept on asking where’s her Tito Joey or her Tita Jean… Sad. Sniff.

I was about to have my lunch when my phone rung this afternoon, I knew at once it was my husband calling. After a little chit chat we end up the call with our magic words – I love you and I love you too.

Husband and I say that magic words countless times a day. Consistently, every morning before parting to work, on the phone, on YM, on emails and before sleeping – a kiss and a whisper of I love you…

Sleepless Night

I am so uncertain to leave home this morning. Though I know my parents house is just a few walks away from our home I feel so cautious every time we leave home; especially every morning when we have to go and my little daughter is still sleeping.

I wasn’t able to sleep last night. I have been waiting for husband, who spends some drinking session with his cousins, a continuation of the celebration of his favorite cousin’s wedding. I was so restless the whole time waiting, I worry too much that the gate and the main door weren’t extra locked. If only we have ADT at home I wouldn’t worry too much. I would put an ADT security camera near our living room window and the other one near the kitchen window. It should be particularly secure especially when husband and I aren’t home.

We leave home during weekdays; my daughter often spends her day at my parent’s house. My mother would always lock the house but still am worried of intruders. On weekends we spend our time with my in-laws so the home is still empty. We just need to put up an ADT security system so every time we are out of the house we feel secure.

I know what you did last weekend

We had a very hectic weekend. I took a vacation leave last Friday coz I offered my service as a flower arranger for husband’s cousin’s wedding. We went to buy the cheapest roses at Dangwa and I had a grand time decorating them the whole day.

The wedding happened the next day, Saturday and it was a blast. I was a proud mother when my daughter walks down the aisle; she was one of the flower girls by the way. When the bride walks down the aisle everybody was moved to tears.

After the wedding, we went to meet a very dear friend who came from Japan. The details of that I have to share very soon. We went home tired but still wanted to have some TV time. Husband used to watch basketball game but is still longing for more sports. That’s the main reason why I have been looking for a DIRECT TV near us.

There will be lots of options on our viewing time and I would not be bored on choosing over 2 channels. I have been asking one neighbor who has a DIRECTTV and I am thinking if I should get their service too. I need a Direct TV Satellite before March; I want to watch Manny Pacquiao fights versus Cottley at home. For sure husband would love the idea!

Looking through your eyes

Husband and I can read each other’s thought by looking through each other’s eyes. Sometimes my being transparent betrays me – he knows me very well. He can hide his feelings but his eyes will always leak what’s on his mind. But now every time I buzz him at YM and begin with ‘daddy I have a question’ his replies would be..

Of, course I love you..

I miss you too..

We will have another play mate when yena turns 3..

As if answering all that’s running in my mind. Hahah.

Husband likes mestisa, sexy and long haired girls. But he will tell me which one is sensual or which one has no sex appeal. Husband is very sweet, he would never let a day pass without saying I love you, kissing and hugging me even in public. He is very funny guy but sometimes misunderstood by my friends. They thought I was under him – if only they knew the truth. He is overprotective of me, scares a lot when am out for dinner with my friends.

He enjoys the weekend watching movies and playing basketball with his cousins. He loves to cook and stays most in my little kitchen. Making KILAWIN is his specialty. He loves to create a whole-lotta-mess around the house – I think that’s what he does best above all – he is not a neat-freak.

Husband doesn’t drink coffee, only milk. His choice of drink when lunching out is pineapple juice and iced tea. He eats everything as in everything EXCEPT kare kare. He loves Filipino food, spicy dishes, vegatables and fish. He loves fruit salad and biko – that he can consume a kilo all by himself. He prefers Jollibee chicken over McDonalds. He loves Max’s as much as I do.

He is very particular with his undergarments and pants. He only has bench briefs and levi’s pants – that’s where he loves to spend. But he is very miser -- most of his tshirts, he bought from UK (yes, ukay ukay!) He seldom gets sick – actually he just got back to work now. He has fever since Monday night. He never fails to attend mass every Sunday.. He has a faith stronger than mine. He plays the guitar very well and sings well too.

He loves/adores my highschool friend Daryl. He likes my blogging kumares so much, he knows them all by name.. he knows who lives in Japan, US or locally. He embraces blogging because he knew I would be happy when he updates his blog asap. And that’s a hint, hey daddy update your blog! I have been doing free advertising for you.. Mukang ambait mo sa post kong ‘to, hahah.

So the list will go on and on. I can brag about how well I know my husband but am afraid you will fall to sleep.. SO there! Happy CC! See you around guyz..

Naked Weapon

I miss TCP! It’s so good to be back.. For last week, I have to agree that AVATAR really leads 2010 blockbuster movie. It is one of my favorite films of all time not only because of the papable Jake Sully but also because I watched it with my most papable husband, Yobib lol.

When kikamz told me about this week’s theme I only had SO CLOSE in my mind, my sister and I love that film so much, we watch it over and over again. But since kamz featured it already I have to share my next favorite girl power film – NAKED WEAPON.

What I dislike on the film is the brutal trainings and the part when the three girls were raped by Madam M’s guards. But the film has a ‘so close’ charm because the lead characters are pretty but deadly. You don’t mess with girls like them..

Expiration Date on Marriage

I heard the news today about putting an expiration date on marriage contract. Marriage term is like 10 years and it’s up to the couple to renew it after ten years. I shared the news to husband on yahoo messenger and I can’t stop laughing when I read his reaction..

So our conversation goes like this:

ME: have you heard about the news? About a law putting an expiration date on marriage?

HIM: oo, astig noh! Parang tanga lang ang nakaisip (yes, I heard about it. Seems like some moron thought about this!)

Yes, that’s how my husband answers things. But seriously, who would have thought that someone of sane mind would advocate such law..

Have they forgotten about their wedding vows of - - for better, for worst.. in sickness and in health.. ‘TIL DEATH DO US PART?

He made me really angry

Pardon my absence pretty please. I miss CC, I miss all of you. Thanks for welcoming back! ;) hahahah. So now I have to disclose what my husband did that made me really angry.. Hmmmmm should I share a past story? This will be very humiliating on husband’s part but for the sake of CC here it is, peace daddy ha! This for CC only.. heheh

Husband usually fetches me every afternoon at work. One night, I waited and kept on calling him on his cellphone but he was not answering his phone. He texted me saying he was on his way.. He arrived at my office looking very handsome, he wore differently his jeans and polo and that was the last time he wore it that way.

So later that night, I noticed him texting like crazy. Just a bit of information, husband hates texting. But on that particular night he went out of our apartment and bought a prepaid load, he must have been texting a very important person, that’s what I thought.

So while he was away, I secretly get the number of that someone he’s texting – It was one of his guy friends number. I saw that his guy friend has two numbers saved on his cellphone, I get both numbers and saved it on my phone. The next day I called that number and learned that it was indeed his friend’s number BUT when I tried to reach the other number, a girl answered.

I was really furious at that time and I remembered how much husband asked forgiveness and promised not to ‘have dinner with girlfriends’ ever again. You don’t want to see me mad, that I have to tell you. I am really scary. So I scared that flirty girl away, that I am very, very sure! It is really hard to tame me when I am mad, it will take a loooong time to cool me down. Husband did all things to bring me back to my sane self.. And I have been sane ever since. BOW.

Celebrate Anniversaries the CHEESY way

Husband and I celebrate two very special days monthly - our monthsary as lovers (the day we officially became an item) and as a couple (the day we officially became husband and wife). So when my friend, Ate Binx asked me to blog some tips on how to celebrate anniversary the non-cheesy way I declined. I told her am sooo cheesssy.. ;)

So here are my cheesy tips – those that husband and I already did and those that I am looking forward of doing.. hahah

1st year: Bonding galore

Husband isn’t into books, but we spent our first year anniversary cuddling while reading our books we bought as gifts for each other. We dined at our favorite restaurant and spent the whole day together..

2nd year: Romantic Getaway

Visit Coron, this is so recommended for couples who like some rest and recreation. Almost all the white sand beaches are secluded, you can swim, snorkel together and have all the fun under the sun, stars and the moon.. I highly recommend the cottage we stayed in – visit coron and stay at Krystal Lodge! You won’t regret it..

Oh well, the ff are my random thoughts on how cheesy I am when celebrating anniversaries well some are petty but sweet while some are grand..

1. Leave a love note on his pocket or to any secret place on the day of your anniversary or paste it somewhere he goes first thing in the morning.

2. Wake him up at 12AM, greet him and kiss him. Am sure this will lead to something you both love to do. ;)

3. Surprise him by sending roses at his work or wherever he may be. This is an ultimate ‘cheesy’ thing for men no matter how much masculine they are! Let the flowers do the talking..

4. Go to a romantic place like Tagaytay and spend the day holding hands while strolling. If you can stay overnight on a cottage, the better! Prepare him breakfast in bed. Ultimate cheesiness. ;)

5. Call him or email him you want to go out for a date. If you can make reservation for a romantic candlelight dinner, do it! Or eat on your fave restaurant or fast food chain. The place would not matter anyway..

6. Watch romantic movie together, go to a bar or somewhere secluded where you can talk or just stare at one another

7. Take another honeymoon to a destination that you both wanted to visit.. or just check into a hotel nearby.. ;)

8. Stay at home, cook his favorite food, light candles – create a very romantic atmosphere. Share your thoughts, discuss anything you want to. Tease him while talking..

9. Go on a picnic. Pack your picnic hamper and bring all your favorite foods. Communicate while feasting on the food. Stare, kiss, cuddle and hug each other. Or talk about the old times when you first met

10. Call him and confess how much you love him. Email him or talk deliciously on chatrooms. Flirt with him like there’s no more tomorrow.

Choose on how much you are willing to commemorate the high and low times you conquered with your partner! Just don’t forget to CELEBRATE! Enjoy and cherish each other’s company. A grand date or you simple you-and-me time together could do wonder to make your anniversary more memorable!

Where God wants me

If it’s my angel doing the trick, I don’t know if I should be thankful. Coz Every time he is furious am not around..

All hell would break lose every time he loses control. He hurts his wife physically and I cannot imagine how can he do that.. I have never seen him go that furious. I pity the wife and I regret all the time I was not there to protect her.. I know I will be in between them but what if he hurts me too. My husband won’t allow that and I know it would cost more trouble for him and my husband. No. I would not let him touch my husband too.

I have been praying to God to give me strength, just give me a sign to help the wife. Hearing news of her being hurt physically for their every quarrel brings a chill to my bones. I need to confront the man. I need to talk to him to stop the beating, he doesn’t have the right! Nobody does.

I know God brings me where he wants me every minute of every day.. i just wish that on the next time he would try to beat his wife again I am near.

Christmas Gifts for Him or Her

Husband and I bought our LCD TV last weekend. And that 32 inches delight is still on its box lying on one corner of the house. That is our Christmas gift for each other. The made- to-order entertainment rack will be delivered on the 26th, so we will start watching on that tube after Christmas. But there’s no hurrying.. As I said that is a Christmas gift so it’s supposed to be unwrapped on the Christmas day right?

I must say the best gifts of the season are those intangibles. Like you know where I am heading now but still I want to say that the best gift ever is love- - it is by giving and sharing that we find true joy. We give gifts on Christmas because it is Christ’s birthday! Our gifts aren’t necessary pricey. It is not the material things that matter. Our love is the best gift we give to others. That never runs out of season BUT if you are looking for some techie stuff to give your beloved half head on to DIY gadgets. I found a lot of useful stuffs that will surely bring smile to your loved ones. Did I say your gifts should not be expensive? But if you have lots of savings to spend, head on! It would hurt your pocket once but will surely make someone happy!

What to do when you're lonely?

Huh! Who's lonely? Definitely not me! er.. alright, am sort of sad. It has been three days and two nights without my masunget husband and i miss him like crazy. I thought for so long he will be on work trip once every month, but it seems he is into travel lately.. not that am complaining, i know how much he loves his work and we both cannot afford to lose our job at this very trying times. :D

But since i started this post with a question, i might as well answer that 'stupid' question. Since husband left and since i don't want to use the internet connection at work i buried my self with my ebooks. I just finished reading ECLIPSE and BREAKING DAWN and those two ebooks accompanied me on my lonely days and nights. :D yes, not even blogging.. Smartbro wireless really sucks.

Anyways..

Now am running out of ebooks! Good thing he will be home tonight.. And who is excited??? Definitely yena.. er- ME! And he told me he has the internet connection i have been dreaming.. i will be back to my blogging life soon, and am crossing my fingers now! yey
